    • DISCOVER

        This Roadmap is intended to guide the implementation team through the SAP S/4HANA Cloud implementation. It is comprised of Phases, Deliverables, and Tasks in accordance with the SAP Activate methodology. In addition, accelerators are linked to the relevant deliverables and tasks making them easy to consume when they are needed

        Stakeholder Identification

        The purpose of this task is to identify key stakeholders which may be critical to a successful project kick-off process.

        Value Discovery

        The purpose of this deliverable is to formally recognize that a new project exists. It supports the decision accept the project, align stakeholders

        Discovery Assessment

        The purpose of this deliverable is to capture and document project scope, through the SAP Digital Discovery, to generate a scoping report.

         

        Application Value and Scoping

        The purpose of this deliverable is to create a strategic roadmap that serves as key input into the customer business case.

        Cloud Trial

        The purpose of this deliverable is to get access to a SAP S/4HANA Cloud Trial system via the cloud trial.

    • PREPARE

        It is time to initiate and plan the project. The purpose of this phase is to provide the initial planning and preparation for the project. In this phase, the project is started, plans are finalized, project team is assigned, and work is under way to start the project optimally.

        Project Initiation and Governance

        The purpose of the Project Initiation and Governance deliverable is to formally recognize that a new project exists and to initiate the work on the project.

        Project Plans, Schedule and Budget

        The purpose of this deliverable is to plan activities during the early stages of the project,project management plan development.

        Project Standards, Infrastructure, and Solution

        The purpose of this deliverable is to provide consistent means of executing and governing project work in an efficient and effective manner.

        Project Kick-Off and On-Boarding

        The purpose of this deliverable is to kick-off the project and ensure that all needed information is shared with anybody involved in the project.

        Business Driven Configuration Assessment

        The purpose of this deliverable is to provide preliminary configuration and further insight into the customer's process based on the solution scope and the customer’s current operational processes.

        Receive Initial System for Fit-to-Standard Workshops

        The purpose of this deliverable is to receive the initial system and prepare for the fit-to- standard, before configuration and development work starts in the Realize phase.

        Prepare Integration Setup

        The purpose of this deliverable is to prepare the setup of integrations & make yourself familiar with the option to setup the integration.

    • EXPLORE

        The purpose of the Explore phase is to develop detail plans in all workstreams of the implementation to be executed in the Realize phase. The plans should cover all aspects of the implementation project, from scoping, testing, end-user enablement, operations to how the solution will be configured and extended.

        Execution/Monitoring of Project

        During the executing/monitoring of the project the team carries out the planned and approved project work and measures project performance to identify variances from the plan.

        Prepare Enablement Strategy

        The purpose of this deliverable is to analyse the customer’s current enablement capabilities and to provide detailed strategic direction based on this analysis.

        Value Realization

        The purpose of Value Monitoring is to establish the sustainable mechanisms to monitor and control the predefined KPI's and PPI's of the to-be process and/or process changes.

        Fit-to-Standard Analysis

        The purpose of this deliverable is to validate the predefined scenarios, processes and enhancements to customer requirements and identify delta requirements.

        User Interface Design

        The objective of this activity is to collect all requirement from the fit-to standard and to complete the UX Designs.

        Preparation of Technical Implementation

        The focused scope of the SAP S/4HANA Cloud, extended edition allows for a more efficient approach to validating the fit of the customer requirements to the standard solution.

        Organizational Change Management Impact Analysis

        The purpose of the OCM impact analysis deliverable is to ensure that the OCM and technical changes in business processes have been identified and documented by comparing the as-is and the to-be business processes.

    • REALIZE

        The objective of the Realize phase is to accomplish on all plans prepared and signed off in the Explore phase. The solution is configured according to the backlog collected and approved earlier. Users are prepared for the shift, end-user training is prepared and executed. The productive landscape is built for the cut-over.

        Development and Setup Extensions in EXP and QA Landscape

        The purpose of this deliverable is the setup of extensions in the development landscape and the development of setup guides.

        Integration Setup in Productive Landscape

        The purpose of the deliverable is the setup of Integrations in the productive landscape.

        Legacy Data Migration

        The purpose of this deliverable is to develop, test, and execute the data migration programs and processes defined in the Explore phase.

        Learning Enablement Delivery

        The purpose of this deliverable is to cover all the different methods of delivery available to an organization.

        Value Realization

        The purpose of this deliverable is to monitor and control the implementation of key process changes and value enablers, as well as to ensure the design and implementation of the Value Dashboard for KPI tracking purposes.

        Learning Enablement Content Development

        The purpose of this deliverable is the development of learning enablement content; the process of creating readily accessible, easily digestible and dynamic end-user specific enablement content to carry out the daily tasks and have knowledge

    • DEPLOY

        The objective of this phase is to setup the production system, confirm customer organization readiness, and to shift business operations to the new system.

        Execution/Monitoring of Project

        The purpose of this deliverable is for the project team to carry out the planned and approved project work and measures project performance to identify variances from the plan. 

        User Experience Management Tool Deployment

        The purpose of this deliverable is to implement SAP User Experience Management by Knoa, a comprehensive solution that helps customers manage their users’ experience with SAP solutions, in order to identify and resolve adoption and productivity issues.

        Evaluate End User Experience

        The purpose of this deliverable is to evaluate the end-users experience of the SAP solution and identify and resolve adoption and productivity issues.

        OCM Execution Activities

        The purpose of this deliverable is to execute on the Organizational Change Management activities related to the OCM execution plan in the Deploy phase.

        Production Hypercare Support

        The purpose of this deliverable is to provide sufficient and timely support of the transition to production process to ensure stabilization of the solution and related business processes.

    • RUN

        The purpose of the Run phase is value generation and continuous learning.

         

        Improve and Innovate Solution

        The purpose of this deliverable is to improve and simplify your new solution to realize maximum benefit. On the one hand, this requires the periodic update

        SAP Cloud Trust Center

        The purpose of this deliverable is to review the features that the SAP Cloud Trust Center provides. These services include Cloud Service Status, Security, Data Protection and Privacy, Compliance, and Agreements.

        Cloud Trial

        The purpose of the deliverable is to learn about the functionality of SAP S/4HANA Cloud via the cloud trial. With the cloud trial, you will discover the value of simplicity across concrete roles and predefined processes in finance, project management, and marketing.

        OCM Continuous Change Management Activities

        The purpose of this deliverable is to continually improve the organizational efficiencies through expanded use of the solution and adoption of the new system functionality.
